:- 5.0 out of 5 stars from Lew -- Great book but beware before allowing independent reading! : I’m loving reading this book to my class, but just beware if you give it to any children who still believe in Christmas, that it talks about it not being real and uses the word ‘crappy’. - 5.0 out of 5 stars from H. M. Anderson -- Brilliant : I do not know how the book got to us so quick! We ordered late on an evening watching Lenny Henry on a TV show and the next morning it arrived! It’s a lovely book. For YA but still a nice read. I bought it for my husband as he’s never seen a main character in a book called Tunde before. It’s a lovely inclusive book, covering bullying and growing up and adoption. Oh and having wings. Definitely recommend to YA readers. Especially ethnic minorities who are well represented, and even a main character is disabled in a wheelchair. I loved how everything was inclusive for her and she was very cool. Three of the main characters are girls I a book about a boy… Lenny Henry had gone a great job. It’s funny - I laughed out loud a few times - loved Sir Lenny’s hyperbole and teenage descriptions of things. ( Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 21, 2021 )

Great niece laughed out loud at some parts, always a good sign. A book reflecting some of the problems of multicultural Britain but making its points with a light and amusing hand. We are a multicultural and diverse family and have not come across many books for children that address so many issues in such an entertaining way.
