The perception has been created over the past few decades that Vos' redemptive-historical methodology is unattractive. Yet Geerhardus Vos delivered truth as a penetrative and tender-hearted advocate of righteousness, in the typical litany and oratory of grand Dutch homiletics. I would venture to say that such command, while beautiful in written form, must have evoked awe and amazement from the few privileged to have heard Vos preach.
